In the 1920s, there were up to 6 million members of the Ku Klux Klan and their base was not in the old Confederacy. The slogan of the Klan elected governor Colorado was, every man under the Capitol Dome, a Klansmen. And what you see today is hatred and intolerance and fear of others.
