The Breaking Point for Al Gore

When Donald Trump came out at 2.30 in the morning and said the election had been stolen, I knew that he had absolutely no factual basis to make that judgment. His ego was damaged. He couldn't deal with the fact that he's the only person outside the state of Delaware to have ever lost to Joe Biden. And when you put yourself out there as a candidate, you got to be willing to accept the result, whether you like it or not. That disease still exists today that so many people in my party believe the election was stolen. So my campaign is about going out there and telling the truth and saying to people, like, look, it didn't happen.
