Is There a Meaningful Shift in the Power Dynamic Between the Military and Civil Authorities in Pakistan?

There are many in Pakistan who see your legal fate tied to a much bigger question. That is, whether there is a meaningful shift in the power dynamic between the military and civilian authorities today. For example, Nawaz Sharif has made a point of exercising real authority in security and foreign affairs. He's trying to build a warmer relationship with Delhi. It seems the military doesn't like that because they have always seen defence and foreign affairs as its domain.
