The New California Worker Protection Act (Senate Bill 62)
California finally signed the gorment worker protection act, also known as senate bill 62. The new law requires that all employers of garment workers with employ with more than 26 employees to pay an hourly wage of minimum n dollars an hour. A american apparel put out a statement about how this was going to drive even more production out of the state itself.
