The Night of Nilma and Max
Nilma was printing Hindu prayers for her friend and lover, Masimo Sika. The news of his fourth stage brain tumour came as a shock to Nilma. She used to give him these blessings hoping divine intervention could cure him. While this was happening in Australia, meanwhile several hundred miles away, Vijay Singh dreamt of a lady draped in black with a dark aura looming over her. But in later years, he retrospects that to be an ominous sign of what would follow in the days to come.
