Coinbase Sues Coinbase for Selling Unregistered Securities
Solana was one of 13 coins on the list. Why sue Solana for selling it as an unregistered security rather than suing its issuer? It strikes me as very reminiscent of the share class scenario where the SEC allows mutual fund companies to issue B shares and C shares, then goes after financial advisors who sell them. If you're going to allow the product to be manufactured, what's the problem with using the product in business?
