Is There a Scarcity Economy?

If the US government wanted us to think that we were being invaded by aliens, they probably could. If they wanted to say beyond a shadow of doubt that this was a Chinese spy balloon, they wouldn't have shot several hundred thousand dollars of missiles at it and blown it into irritable bits. Same with the other things that they've shot down. They've made sure that there's absolutely nothing that can be recovered that you could then come to the public and say, this is conclusively XYZ. It keeps people confused and speculating.
