Is Fusion the Next Big Thing?

The US is blessed with quite a bit of its own energy many other countries Europe Japan South Korea are not so blessed that way and they've invested more in some of these other technologies who's who's investing the best right now arguably Europe. I think the earliest we'll see net electric production this is really the goal of the whole fusion community points to show that we can make net electric power rather than just consume it It's probably the early 2030s and then it'll take off after that I think in the early to mid 2030s but the technology technology development that's needed will require significant resources.
