California Assembly Passes Bill to End Review of Pregnancy Related Fetal Deaths

California assembly's judiciary committee passed a bill that would not prosecute women whose babies die of pregnancy related causes up to one week after birth. Pro life groups are concerned the inclusion of paranatal death could legalize infanticide. The bill was introduced by assembly women buffy wicks, a self described lifelong community organizer who previously worked on boracco bama's presidential campaigns. Wicks said she wrote a b 22 23 to prevent women from facing invest ation, prosecution or incarceration due to pregnancy related outcomes including abortions.
