Why Burrows Is So Important
George burrows was accused of being a witch's ringleader and presiding over satanic sabbaths. 30 people testified against him at his trial, with eight women who confessed to witchcraft. Despite his protestations that there neither are, nor ever were witches, he was sentenced to death on the nineteenth of august. Seeing a minister on the gallows was unnerving for such a devoted crowd. He flawlessly recited the lord's prayer just moments before his hanging.
