What's the Difference Between Katia and Maris?
I love how you talk about the differences between these two lovers because the film captures their different personalities so beautifully. One image that totally strikes me is when Katia is in the silver space suit and then Maris throws the rocket head or head and there's just this playfulness between the two of them. I just thought that was just so beautifully captured in that sequence but also throughout the film you really got a sense of who they were as people. Yeah I think balance was such an important thing for us. Yes they were a unit but I think it's so important to like look beyond that and look at who they are as people.
