Stephanie Bolock and Patrick Lemieux are professors at UC Davis in the cinema and digital media department. They wrote a book together called Medigaming, which is about how people play with games. The word "Medigame" often means strategy that's in fashion or your approach to a game. But it aligns more with like, meta fiction and meta narrative and meta film.
