A New York City High School student made $72 million trading penny stocks during his lunch break. It was all the rage on social media and all the news stories for about 24 hours until the guy fessed up that it was a scam. Many want to believe that there are these savant they can do special tricks, make money from thin air while they sit around at a high school cafeteria at the age of 17. Hugh Hendry is now taking the blue pill. He is bought into the system. And as he says, there are times when an investor has no choice, but to behave as though he believes in things that don't necessarily exist.
