Google Authenticator Gets a New 2FA Tool

Google's Authenticator app just got a handy new 2FA tool. You can now sync sign-in codes across devices, but they aren't end-to-end encrypted. The feature is available on the latest iOS and Android versions of Google's app. Microsoft has allowed people to use a backup and restore tool for its Microsoft Authenticator app since 2019. Other third-party apps, such as Authy, also sync across people's devices.
