Killing Your Favorite Dog
Boris the dog was racked with ailments, blind and could barely move. Boris was the obvious choice of what to kill as his time remaining was limited. As an aside, ok, i get that you need to kill something, but your favorite hound. Killing anything is rough. But why not a chicken or a pig, so that not only can you keep your family frm being cursed, but you can celebrate with bacon afterwards? I also kind of elaborated on the dog's ailments the stories just call it his favorite hound from childhood. The dragon looked at john lambdon, and it was if he knew that this was the original captor who had cast him into the well.
