What Is Mills Theory of History?
Mills is not necessarily a marxis. He is influenced by marxism, but he is also a materialist. Mills sees history as this clash of conflicts between the wealthy, ruling class and the working class. And these contradictions lead to a kind of momentum that pushes history forward. But mills once understood that you needed to put your analysis of society and politics into historical context.
