The text calls out blessings to a thousand generations. Some people actually today, and i think this is actually astonishing, accused toby sumter of being prosperity,. But basically because he said that obedience is related to god's blessing. It just drives me nuts when jesus says, hey, with the measure you use ill be measured back to you. And so as we talk about covenant succession, one of the things that we're talking about is blessing our generations.
