Studies have found that fidgeting can help you burn up to 350 caleries a day. Fidgeting helped people score better in a memory test by giving the bodies something to do, and thus improving their focus. Another issue caused by sitting is called repetative stress injury. Have three different working or sitting positions on a chair, at your desk or using a standing desk. If you have a laptop, just pile a few books or invert a dust bin and use that as a stand.
