The Five Emperors of China
Duol Lu is maybe an hour south of Zhang Jiakou, near the border with Shanxi. Shaohao was said to be the son of the yellow emperor and reigned in the 2500s BC at his capital, and Chufu. Duon Shue doesn't have much that's written about him, though he is said to have particularly made contributions to astronomy and the calendar. He was followed by Ku, who was the great grandson of the yellow Emperor. The final two of the mythical D, or five emperors, were Yao and Shun. They got mentioned quite often in the normal course of Chinese history,. philosophy, art, literature, and culture.
