The Traditional American Funeral Industry Isn't Enough, Right?
Americans just don't like talking about death. There is a real sort of just primal aversion to talking about really any method in detail. The Catholic Church has said that N.R. is more appropriate for vegetable trimmings and eggshells than for human bodies. But I have to say, the traditional American funeral is like 160 years old. It's not innate to the human experience that we do things this way.
