Posterlateral Corn Injury
In an acute injury, you may see bone brizzing of the medial femoral condyle and medial tibual plateau. A coronal, oblique, thin slice through the fibular head is best at visualizing poster lateral corner structures. Treatment for a postera lateral corn injury can be non operative or operative. Non operative management includes nea mobilization in full extension for four weeks then rehabilitation. Operative treatment has improved outcomes compared to non operative treatment but keep in mind that repair has a higher failure rate than reconstruction.
