The Uncertainty of a Divorce
The poem goes viral, which leads people to take a meaning away from it that is not actually in the text. And I wonder sort of about the transformation of that interesting conflict in that earlier piece into what feels like more and more increasing certainty. Did any of you see that or am I totally barking up the wrong tree here? Well, that also seems like a product of the way your feelings about this relationship revolve, right? Right. If you're in the midst of a divorce as she was when she wrote that modern love piece when it's all fresh and especially hard, you are going to project...a lot more uncertainty about the situation.
