The Golden Age of the British Seaside Resorts
When would you say was the golden age of the British seaside resorts? That's interesting because it kind of depends on what sort of golden age you're thinking about in terms of visitor numbers or investment. I suppose probably we're thinking back to the post-war period, the 1950s when people finally have got their paid holiday. So there's just the potential for everyone to go away is there and we haven't yet discovered cheap foreign sunshine.
