Charles Garcia says time flies whether we're having fun or not that's what some people forget. The world is getting more complex there are more people more interconnected things moving faster than ever and all of that in number has changed if you will the ecosystem. Things that used to be more causal have now slipped into more feedback oriented systems like black pools, whale trade and so forth. There's actually less critical thinking going on about what's going on at least in his opinion than when the world was simpler.
