Oil Palms in Africa - A Review

In subsheren africa, i mostly focus on west africa in the book because this is the largest producing region. By the lateby the late nineteenth century, we already have a fairly well established palm oil industry. In other regions, particularly in germany's colonies in cameroon and togo, german scientists realize that they could get much higher yields in plantation. And some of the same people who are involved bring this model from africa to southeast asia. It really boils down to individual empiresand individual policies in the specific colonies wat what's possible um in terms of colonial exploitation and what's not.
