The dunning cruger effect is a cognitive bias in which people wrongly overestimate their knowledge or ability. This tends to occur because of a lack of self awareness, which prevents them from accurately assessing their own skills. People who are experts and expert comfetence in a certain area have a lot of confetence. But isn't it funny how it's like a big yu, how people with no competence whatsoever in a specific area are the first ones to opine?
