We are then joined by Sam Koslowski, co-founder of The Daily Aus, to unpack how and why the US supreme court has ended the constitutional right for a woman in America to have an abortion. Sam explains how the legal system in the US works, which states it will be legal and illegal to have a termination of pregnancy and how this ruling will largely impact minority groups and people of lower socioeconomic status.
Our hearts are breaking for the women that will be affected by this decision. It is truly baffling that this is happening in 2022.
