Is There a Two-State Solution?
The time for talk of a two-state solution is over. There will have to be one entity through that whole territory, Vagouti says. The Palestinian Authority agreed to meet the Israelis at the so-called Akaba summit overseen by the Jordanians and Egyptians. But Hamas which remains committed to resistance refuses to recognize the right of the Jewish state to exist.
