The Ligaments of the Skafolunate Joint

The long radio-lunate ligament counteracts the ulnar-distal translocation of the lunate. Examples of volor-olno-carpal ligaments include the Ulnar-tryquitrol ligament, and the ulna-capitate ligament. Proximal row-intrinsic or interosseous ligaments such as the skafolunateligament are important in VZ deformities. The palmer mid-carpa is a more complex group with several different types of ligaments.
