How Long Does a Cover Letter Need to Be?

In general, i advocate for less than a page, like half a page, three quarters of a page. The biggest advice that i give students when i work with them is to pick maybe, like, one or two job s to apply to a day and put an hour into that process. It's certainly a riskier approach in terms of, you might spend one or two or ten hours working on an application for a specific company. You're not trying to write fer next te lod of the rings starbs, a song of ice and fire,. But no, certainly that's not the expectation.
