The Biggest Personal Tax Cut in 25 Years

Tars: I know that families are struggling with the cost of living. And yesterday we outline a plan to deliver the biggest net cut personal taxes in 25 years. The first is cutting fuel duty. That happened yesterday at six p m. Second is to significantly raise the thresholds in national insurance. That delivers a tax cut to 30 million people in works. And then lastly, set out a plan to reduce, for the first time, ha 16 years, income tax so people can keep more of what they earn.
