A Wisconsin man named Scott Tach was offered a full-time position at the NRA back in 2004. His job was to solicit donations in his home state of Wisconsin for the organization's charitable arm. He would stress to donors, some giving just $10 and $20, that their money was going directly towards state and national programs - not toward paying staff like him.
