How I Fell in Love With Photography
Bierstadt depicted Native Americans in a lot of his scenery and was showing people you know these places are special. We need to preserve these places. And that was I think part of what really drew me into that aspect is because then I saw these places in person out in the Pacific Northwest. For me photographing landscapes particularly that's where I started out with it. It was more it's always been more about the light and sort of more of the drama with it.
