The Importance of Food in the Underworld
Persephone spends a third of every year living with Hades in the underworld as his queen. If you're a standard non-Hades, human, or god, you can't eat anything in the underworld. Hermes is one of the few characters that can easily travel between the underworld and the standard world because he uses his cute little wing sandals. He's brought Persephone back to the real world, and man, or she and Demeter thrilled! What a wonderful thing to happen!
