Is It Better for Companies to Keep Quiet?
When companies take a stande there is a danger, and a real danger, that you can lose customers. That's not something shareholders are going to want to see happening, is it? Isn't it better for companies to keep quiet? I mean, i think what we're seeing now is just some growing expectation from a number of their employees and consumersa Not all consumers, but some consumers, to speak out on issues that they really feel are close to them.
