The Templars: A History of the Middle East

In the year 1100, the Muslim world was pretty fractured. And it kind of split into two camps that we still have today. We've got Sunnis and Shiites. I'm not a scholar of Islamic history. It's an area that I find very interesting, but I don't know enough to speak intelligently about it. The main one is the wonderful book called The Templars by Dan Jones.
