The right has successfully isolated abortion from everything else, she says. Abortion is actually broadly popular in the U.S., but it's still a controversial issue. She thinks we're more likely to have a federal band on abortion before anything like a federal cotification of what was row under a so if that's the reality we're moving in en like, at least we can sort of reclaim this domain of politics.
