The Story of John Crawford and the Army Reserve Medical Corps

As a student, Brinkley began dabbling into what was referred to as the wild side of medicine. At one point, he and one of his peers injected patients with colored water claiming that it was a miraculous cure for venereal disease. He finally graduated on May 7th, 1915, his diploma from eclectic allowed him to practice medicine in eight states. In 1917, John was called up from the army reserves to serve in World War One. But he spent two months having a nervous breakdown until he was discharged.
