He went and often read some folklore and superstitions about a this figure of the vampire, which seemed to emerge in eighteenth century europe. It feels like an incredibly modern document intt its. A series of people who begin to realize that something very menacing and supernatural has arrived in england via whitby. The story is this very breathless reporting of a group of men, some women who come together in order to expel this menacing threat from england.
