Greyhound Racing and Gambling
Gambling is subject to tax like any other regulated activity. Why shouldn't the sport, which a lot of these bets are placed, benefit from that? I'd see greyhound racing banned long before I'd see gambling banned. The idea that the FAI should be made to feel grateful for what they have, I don't think is a fair one. It's very hard to ask people for money and not give them a headache. We're way at the bottom of the table. This is a much bigger sport than either horse or grain racing by participation in terms of the number of people's lives that it affects and can't improve. What you say they're going to lead on is
