Nietzsche's Ubermensch: A Playful Spirit

In James Carson's finite and infinite games, what feels like toil and hard becomes light and playful once you have realized that history is history. The Ubermensch is a playful spirit, not a vengeful or resentful spirit, but a spirit of play. And this is one reason why I think really great stand-up comedy can be an art. Yeah. Like Richard Pryor's stand-up, for example, can be serious as a heart attack. And yet, it's funny as shit. And it's not serious at all. It's both.
