The Pressure to Build Grand Hotels in India
There were a lot of pressures. We said, no, let's do it first. Let's be the king in our own country. So I think that if it hadn't been, we would not have spent that kind of money and build these great grand hotels. And today you can see that the return on capital employed has bumped up substantially because most hotels are now in the positive. The larger hotels are all firing on full cylinder. With the asset life strategy in the annual as the new CEO has said that you know, we're going to have 20 more management contracts in the next two years. This day would not have come if you had not taken this decision.
