Sex was put under the microscope by edwardians. They sought to make sense of sexual behaviors within a kind of nature. Whipping, dressing us as women and fawning over sta s althis sort of kind of sexual am kinks they were fascinated by. But in parallel, another fascinating trend of this era was the medicalization of sex. It wasn't necessarily wayward or beyond realm of possibility, or even immoral. I never thought i'd be reading and watching as much filth as as i did nesearching this.
