I was worried on your behalf throughout this must have been a really quite difficult book to write, just as you've said already because of its capacious ambitions. I wondered about the sort of philosophical issue that in order to understand Japanese philosophy or Chinese philosophy, we have to translate it into essentially Eurocentric philosophical tradition.
