Looking for Richard - A Look at the Kings Grave
There was a long process. I visited that car park in 2004 and by the time I founded the Looking for Richard project, the research project, it was 2009. The most difficult thing was we were in one of the worst recessions in living memory since World War II at that point. But they thought whether or not we found Richard, it could help put Leicester on the map a bit. So they were amazing. They gave me permission as the client to undertake an archaeological search,. Also do a ground penetrating radar survey and bring a television crew on board to do the documentary. That was in September 2010.
