The Importance of Language in Your Life

I don't think I was a child who resisted adventure. I became very adaptable, mainly because of, you know, my mother felt sick when she was five and so, we had to be separated. So it kind of shaped me in a sense where I became adaptable. And moving wasn't something that was a traumatic experience for me. What was traumatic, I suppose, would be the separations that came with with be I was very attached. It didn't take me more than six months though to actually start to get into the rhythm of English. But that's why for me language is a big part of my life; I never take it for granted.
