The Story of Success
When i'm thinking about stories to tell, i always try to zig when everyone else is zagging. What i'd really like to hear is a success guy talk about how he really screwed up the first time. So often in story telling, people use the first few sentences of their story to establish location and characters. And i just think it's a terrible mistake. That is the bar i set for my stories, which is, i have to cause my audience to desperately want to hear the next sentence i'm going to say.
