The Parallels Between God and Moses

When you're reading the Old Testament, you're going to be seeing cases where God is repeating himself. The crossing of the Red Sea is a type that finds its corresponding anti-type in the crossing of the Jordan River under Joshua. In fact, another one that has to do with Moses is that Gideon, the call of Gideon, is in many ways a parallel to the call of Moses. And there's some other parallels we'll get to in a minute.
