The Greatest Investors Are a Rational, Clear Thinker
The best investors, they actually are pursuing thinking and an kind of a thought rather than just pure profit. And so what kind of fascinated me was the idea that the greatest investors are an incredible filter thinking about how to make rational decisions. The reason why they're such extraordinary decision makers is because they have skin in the game. If if i'm wrong about something, i tend not to pay a huge cost, a huge price. But if you're managing a billion dollars,. or 50 million dollars, or 50 billion dollars, or 100 billion dollars as some of the people i'm writing about do, there's an enormous cost if you're wrong - but also tremendous rewards if you're right.
