The Politics of Wolves in Caribou
I don't think there's ever any way to achieve a middle ground for any of it even the biologists you know they that work with caribou and work with wolves are constrained by politics. There was just a report this winter about how the state has spent umpteen millions of dollars killing wolves and bears to promote caribou, moose numbers but it wasn't working. The higher ups in fishing game says we don't care we're going to continue to do it anyway.
